The following tour options can be arranged as a single holiday destination to Taiwan or included as an exciting extension to all our tour packages to China... Flights from China or UK can easily be arranged at additional cost.

Taiwan Tour Option 1

Day 1 - China/UK to Taiwan - Taipei
Pick up at airport by our local representative and transferred to your hotel, where you will check in. Rest of day free at your leisure.

Day 2 - Taipei (breakfast inc)
After breakfast you will be met at the hotel reception for your morning tour of Taipei. The tour will include visiting the Presidential Office building (pass by), Chiang Kai-Shek memorial hall. Martyrs Shrine (war memorial), National Palace Museum, Chinese temple and Handicraft center. Rest of day free to explore Taipei many sights and shopping opportunities for a great bargain.

Optional night tour: includes Mongolian BBQ dinner, Lungshan Temple, Hwashsi street night market and the current world tallest 'completed' skyscraper Taipei 101 (not incl ticket to observatory).

Day 3 - Taipei (breakfast inc)
A free day to explore Taipei or take optional excursion (additional fee required)

Optional excursion 1 - Yangmingshan, the mountainous area North of Taipei city. The area is famous for its beautiful scenery with traces of volcanic activity providing opportunities for outdoor hot spring bathing in the warm volcanic spa water. The tour includes pickup at hotel and visits Yangmingshan National Park and includes a relaxing outdoor hot spring spar bath.

Optional excursion 2 - Chiufen Village and Northeast coast tour: The village of Chiufen was once at the center of gold mining in Taiwan. Although the gold has gone, this quaint village with closely built houses clinging on steep mountainsides continue to offer enchanting scenery and fascinating glimpses into lifestyles of the past. The tour includes Chiufen village, pass by Chinkuashih village, Pitou Cape, Nanya Rock formation and bay of two colours.

Day 4 - Taipei - UK/Onward Journey (breakfast inc)
Pick up at hotel and transfer to airport for your onward flight.

Taiwan Tour Option 2 - Taipei - Sun Moon Lake, Puli & Lukang.

Day 1 - China/UK to Taiwan - Taipei
Pick up at airport by our local representative and transferred to your hotel, where you will check in. Rest of day free at your leisure.

Check out of your hotel ready for the pickup and transfer by bus to Nantou and Sun Moon lake. We then take a Lake bus tour to Wenwu Temple, Tenhua village, Tse en Pagoda, Holy Monk Shrine, the cultural and artistic heaven of Puli and Taichung city. Overnight hotel stay in Taichung.

Day 4 - Taichung - Taipei (breakfast inc)
After breakfast you will be picked up from your hotel for todays tour to Lukang historical and cultural town before transferring to your hotel in Taipei.

Day 5 - Taipei - UK/Onward Journey (breakfast inc)
Pick up at hotel and transfer to airport for your onward flight.

Taiwan Tour Option 3 - Taipei - East coast and Taroko Gorge National Park.

Day 1 - China/UK to Taiwan - Taipei

Day 3 - Taipei - Hualien (breakfast inc)
Check out of your hotel ready for the pick-up and transfer to Sungshan Airport for your flight to Hualien. On arrival take a tour bus to Taroko Gorge gateway, where our tour includes visiting Eternal spring shrine, Swallow caves, Tunnel of nine turns, Tienhsiang Lodge, Marble factory, Chi Hsing Beach, Hualien Stone Sculpture Park. Overnight stay in your hotel at Hualien.

Day 4 - Hualien - Taipei (breakfast inc)
After breakfast you will be picked up from your hotel for todays tour along the East coast. Our tour includes visiting Pachi scenic lookout, Stone steps, Cave of Eight Immortals, Stone umbrella, Sanhsientai, & East Rift Valley. Following the tour we will transfer to Hualien Airport for our flight back to Sungshan airport where you will return to your hotel in Taipei.

Day 5 - Taipei - UK/Onward Journey (breakfast inc)
Pick up at hotel and transfer to airport for your onward flight.

Taiwan Tour Option 4 - Taipei - Formosa holidays.

Day 1 - China/UK to Taiwan - Taipei
Pick up at airport by our local representative and transfer to your hotel, where you will check in. Rest of day free at your leisure.

Day 2 - Taipei - Taichungi (breakfast & lunch inc)
After breakfast you will be met at the hotel reception for your morning tour of Taipei. The tour will include visiting the National Palace Museum, Chiang Kai-Shek memorial hall, Martyrs Shrine (war memorial), Taipei 101 Skyscraper (photo opportunity), Lunch, Grand hotel, bus to Taichung (overnight accommodation at Howard Plaza hotel Taichung).

Day 3 - Taichung (breakfast & lunch inc)
After breakfast you will be met at hotel reception for todays tour which includes Taichung city, Sun moon Lake, Lake bus tour (Wensu Temple, Te Hua Village, Tse En Pagoda, Holy Monk Shrine, Lunch: The Lalu, Sun Moon Lake, bus to Kaosiung, Liu Ho market and Love River. (Overnight hotel stay in Taichung).

Day 4 - Taichung - Hualien (breakfast & lunch inc)
Todays tour includes Fokuangshan, Light of Buddha mountain, Lunch, Han Hsien Restaurant (seafood), Spring and Autumn Pavilions. We then board a flight at Kaohsiung Airport to Hualien where we visit Ami Culture Village and see folk dancing.(Overnight hotel stay at Parkview Hotel Hualien).

Day 5 - Hualien - Taipei (breakfast inc)

Our tour today takes us to Taroko Gorge which is the gateway to the Eternal Spring shrine, Swallow caves, Tunnel of nine turns and Tienhsiang. After Lunch at Grand Formosa hotel Taroko we visit a marble factory and its showrooms before transferring to Taipei City and check in to your hotel.

Day 6 - Taipei- UK/Onward Journey (breakfast inc)
Either extend your stay in Taipei for a few days or check out ready for your pick-up and transfer to the airport for your onward flight.

Day 1 - China/UK to Taiwan - Taipei

Day 5 - Kaohsiungi - Hualien (breakfast inc)

Today we take the Kaohsiung city tour which includes Chengching Lake, Spring and Autumn Pavilions before transferring to Kaohsiung Airport for a flight to Hualien. Overnight hotel stay in Hualien.

Day 6 - Hualien -Taipei (breakfast inc)

Our tour today takes us to Taroko Gorge which is the gateway to the Eternal Spring shrine, Swallow caves, Tunnel of nine turns and Tienhsiang Lodge, Marble factory, Chi Hsing Beach and Hualien Stone Sculpture park. Finally we transfer to Hualien train station for the train to Taipei. Transferring to Taipei City and check in to your hotel.

Day 7 -Taipei- UK/Onward Journey (breakfast inc)
Either extend your stay in Taipei for a few days or check out ready for your pick-up and transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
